BIOGRAPHY

Emrie Brown is CEO of Rand Merchant Bank. She is a seasoned investment banker who began her career with RMB in 2001 as a transactor, becoming head of Leveraged Finance in 2006. In 2009 she moved to Cape Town to head up the Western Cape investment banking team but relocated to Johannesburg after being appointed co-head of the Investment Banking Division in July 2015 and sole head in 2019. She was appointed CEO in October 2022.
