RMB and FNB stretch their lead as Best Foreign Exchange Providers for 7th consecutive year
The brands also won the Best FX Tech Global Award
RMB and FNB continue to extend their position as the leading platform-based foreign exchange service providers. The brands jointly won the Best Foreign Exchange Provider in South Africa for the 7th consecutive year at the 23rd annual World's Best Foreign Exchange Provider awards, held by Global Finance. FNB Zambia also won best FX provider for the first time.
In addition, RMB and FNB have also won the Best FX Tech Global Award at Global Finance's second annual FX Tech Awards.
RMB and FNB enable foreign exchange transactions and cross-border payments via a unified foreign exchange business unit that provides a variety of solutions for individual and institutional clients. They provide a digital foreign exchange process with intuitive screen flows, pre-populated fields, and the ability to save transactions for later completion; documents can also be uploaded with transactions.
Anthony Grant, CEO of Foreign Exchange at RMB and FNB, says the foreign exchange offering is key to their commitment to being advice-led in efforts to assist clients with their financial matters: "Whether it's an individual or a business client, we are devoted to providing tailored solutions that align with the client's aspirations. Being recognised as the leader in foreign exchange solutions for seven years in a row is a remarkable accomplishment and winning the FX Tech Award reflects our determination to continue reimagining our solutions. We would like to thank our clients for their ongoing support and Global Finance for this honour.
Says Jacques Celliers, FNB CEO: "Foreign exchange and cross-border financial flows are an essential part of the global economy. As a result, we believe that we have a profound responsibility to use our platform to facilitate our clients' access and participation in these activities. Fortunately, many individuals and businesses prefer to use our foreign exchange and cross-border services to unlock opportunities in global markets while mitigating currency related risks. These accolades attest to our business being on the right path in our quest to offer clients a trusted platform with digital interfaces that are user-friendly and safe."
Recently, FNB also enabled its clients to create Global Account Virtual Cards within the FNB App for safer and more convenient payments when abroad. Customers can now effortlessly add their Global Virtual Cards to their individual digital wallets to conduct international transactions in several foreign currencies.
