COUNT CA
The Count CA Programme was established in 2015 to offer newly qualified CAs a unique entry into the banking sector through rotations (up to two years) within core areas of RMB.
This accelerated learning experience gives participants a deep understanding of Corporate and Investment Banking and opens doors for those who may not have had the opportunity to audit within the financial services sector or gain experience outside of an audit practice.

What does the programme offer?
Count CA offers rotational opportunities across RMB for up to two years. Participants could rotate between Investment and Transactional Banking, Credit, Global Markets, Finance and Private Equity - guided by your personal interests and business opportunity.

How is Count CA structured?
Candidates rotate through key areas within our business such as Investment and Transactional Banking, Credit, Markets, Finance and Private Equity. With the support of leadership, candidates can network within RMB, gaining a deep understanding of corporate and investment banking and RMB.
Who can apply for the Count CA?
We are open to applicants who have recently completed their Chartered Accountant qualifications, with a minimum aggregate of 60% and no more than 2 years’ working experience. We are looking for candidates who are motivated, talented, with a desire to excel in the dynamic and challenging world of banking.
I am a non-South African student studying at a SAICA accredited university, would I qualify for your Programme?
The Count CA Programme is unfortunately open to South African citizens only.

What is the duration of the Count CA?
The Programme is offered over a 24-month period, however, depending on personal Interest and business opportunities, the rotational aspect could transition to a permanent role.
What does ‘flat’ structure really mean?
RMB is known for being non-hierarchical. This means our employees have access to all levels of management in the organisation. You are always free to meet and consult with any employee at any level of seniority at RMB to learn and grow.
How does one select one’s rotations?
Rotations are based on your personal interests as well as the business need at any given time. No one path is the same
